Apple Mobile Phones
Apple mobile phones emerged with the birth of the Apple iPhone. Previously the Apple brand was mainly known for the Apple Macintosh computer and related products. As sales of Apple computers wasn’t great the company went down a sideline and created the Apple iPod;before long came the Apple iPhone and the Apple iPad. The iPhone is now on version 4.
Apple is now one of the largest and most respected companies in the world,largely due to its success in it’s consumer devices. The company’s brand image,the quality and ease of use of it’s products have taken the company from an unknown in the mobile phone world to one of the best known with high levels of consumer demand for it’s products.
The iPhone was initially revealed in 2007 and first went on sale in June of that year. In February of 2009 Apple brought out an updated version of the iPhone with different memory capability;a further version was brought out that year with 3G capability. With the 3G version came the launch of the Apple App Store which allows for downloading applications compatible with the iPhone. In June 2009 the iPhone 3GS was announced allowing further improvements. Following this,in June 2010 the iPhone 4 was launched with extra features and improvements. The iPhone 4 had a problem with reception as there is a metal band around the phone which acts as an antenna,a rubber type case was released to overcome this problem.
The iPhone is classed as a Smartphone and is operated mainly by touch screen. Smartphones have become popular around the time of Apples release of the iPhone and many other manufacturers have smartphone offering of there own. It is worth taking a look at the competition between the manufacturers to get the most suitable smart phone for you.
